Jimmy Simmons Bio
I grew up as a multi-sport athlete but always loved playing the game of Baseball most. I never played college ball but continued to play for many years after high school in comp leagues. I also coached a rec baseball team in my early years. Now, I have 3 daughters and always wanted to coach my kids, so when they were little, I started to learn as much as I could about the game of softball. I am a teacher, so connecting with kids and teaching them how to learn, set goals, and work hard is second nature to me. All three of my girls continue to play softball and I continue to coach all 3 in either the head coach or assistant compacity. I have fallen in love with this game, even more so than my love for baseball.
